starting IUI cycle

Hi everyone!! This month I am going to be doing an IUI cycle with new RE. He said he wants to put me on a low dose of clomid and do injections. have any of you had that before? My dh's count for last IUI was almost 7 million. Low but the doctor said anything over 5 is ok. He has since quit drinking so Im hoping his count will be higher. Im just nervous about injections with clomid being that I overstimulated in December when another doctor had me on 100mg of clomid. Any thoughts? Also I wanted to say I am praying for you all daily!!

my husband started taking vitamins--his count doubled at our second iui, i'm not sure if it was the vitamins, but i'm sure they didn't hurt!! good luck!

I agree with Heidi about the vitamins, my doctor said a good mulit vitamin with Zinc. You could check the other boards I know many people who have improved counts A LOT with vitamins.

As far as the hyperstimming goes remember the nice thing about injectables is they control the dose so they can increase and decrease it as necessary. You are probably "safer" on injectables than Clomid alone.

I take low dose (100mg)Clomid and Gonal F.

Good luck and hope your stay here is short and sweet.
