Juliag - did you do anything different on your 2nd FET? Just got a BFN today from the first one using DE (which was supposed to a sure thing...) and I’m just gutted.

Sorry to hear eggsbenedict. My doc changed my protocol a bit. Put me on lovenox and prednisone in addition to progesterone, estrace, vivelle and baby aspirin. Don't give up!

I was on medrol for 4 days before the transfer (last dose was 2 days before transfer). Also on estrace patch, estrodial pills, crinone gel and PIO shots. Did you stay on it through the 2ww? I’m got hashis and POF so autoimmune is a big concern for me but doc doesn’t seem to think it’s a concern. Did you test for clotting disorders before going on Lovenox?

I’m trying to be prepared for the fight that’s coming. I’d like to try metforim, asprin and staying on pred/medrol through transfer.

I was on prednisone before the transfer and then went to much higher dose for 1 week and still on it now but only 10mg once a day. I don't have any clotting issues but the lovenox is suppose to help with blood flow to the uterus.

Thank you so much! It’s really helpful to know. I was surprised they took me off it so quickly especially given that I have a positive ANA, thyroid antibodies, eczema and a family history of lupus and diabetes. Seems like steroid therapy would be a no brainer until we knew for sure everything took.

I’m also curious to see others experience with bloodwork during the lead up to transfer and 2ww. I only hadn’t bw 3 x - once before starting estradiol, then again 3 weeks later at US and finally for beta. Again, I would think someone would want to measure my tsh more often given the use of estradiol...but *♀️ It sounds like others have had bw more often?

I had bloodwork and us twice a week leading up to transfer. I have a 16 month old that was also conceived through ivf and I wasn't on lovenox or steroids with her. Sometimes it just doesn't take. It's so hard I know.
