I have read that it takes 10 days for the HCG to clear out of our system. So - I took the pregnancy test on day 11. It shows Not Pregnant. I know they want us to wait 14 days so that there are not false positive alarms but does anyone know if taking the preg test can change? for example, is it possible that it is just too early?
Basically, I am just trying to figure whether I should give up for this month. Any help is appreciated.

I got my BFP 6dp5dt, which is the equivalent of 11dpiui. BUT I am having twins and apparently had early implanters. So you could definitely still get your BFP, don't give up yet! Good luck!

Thank you guys for the encouragements. I greatly appreciate it. I'll hand in there and test again in a few days. Really - Thank you for the posts letting me know that it's not a definate... I was kind of bummed but I look at that article and I see that people do get false negatives. That is very encouraging.

Question - Is there somewhere I can look up what these acronyms mean? I don't know what all of this --> BFP 6dp5dt <-- means.

I am in the same exact situation as you. I am 12 days post iui today and tested this am and NOTHING. I got some cramping last cycle that stopped after the first week post iui, but its persisted this cylce and is worse. My boobs also hurt, which didnt happen last cycle. I have been on prometrium and Estradiol this cycle and last cycle so who knows. I was hopeful since my symptoms are different this go round. Another weird thing thats been happening this cycle is that I have muscle soreness. Its the same feeling in the front of my thighs that I get after I go for a run and I havent been in a long time. weird. Good Luck to you and here's hoping its just too darn early.

I hope for you there is success this cycle. For me, AF came to visit today so I am confused. It's the second month in a row that AF came days before the 14th day after my trigger shot which really has me confused. I'd love to hear success for you. Good luck. It sounds like your symptoms are in the right direction. I am wondering what the differences are between Estradiol and Menapur? I wonder if anyone out there knows about Menapur - why do doctors chose one over the other? Does anyone happen to know?

Im so sorry to hear that. This whole process is such a roller coaster. I took another test today 13dpiui and negative. . . . . . . I think alot of my symptoms are due to the Prometrium and Estradiol Uggghhhhh. Oh and my dr. puts me on Estradiol after my ultrasound when my lining is too thin (which has been every cycle so far).
