I hurt my back a while back, and I'm still seeing a chiropractor twice a week. While I was stimming, I allowed her to do adjustments, but after the IUI I said no. Anyone know if having chiro adjustments while trying to get pregnant is safe? Or after IUI?

Hi,
I am a chiropractor and i would definitely do adjustments before iui. If your doc is using the full spine techinque involving lots of twisting of the pelvic region, i would suggest not doing so after an iui. but there are techniques that can be used after iui that are much more gentle, i.e. activator. just talk to your chiro and they should modify your treatments accordingly.
Also, if your doc uses any electrical modalities, i would discontinue all use.
hope this helps.

i forgot to mention, chiropractic is known to enhance fertility. your chiro should be willing to explain to you its benefits.
