Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for the sperm to reach the egg when doing an IUI. I peaked yesterday and triggered in the AM then I had IUI this morning at 9am so I would imagine since the swimmers are placed in the uterus it would take less time than normal.

I read online that implantation can occur 6 to 12 days after you ovulate or have an iui. Not sure if that helps. ~*~*~*~baby dust to all of you~*~*~*~~

I've wondered this (how long it takes from IUI to fertilization), myself. Haven't found the answer.
- BMS: 1% enter the uterus, IUI: 100% enter the uterus!
- BMS: Fert takes 10 hrs. IUI: My guess, 5 hours.
We're a good step ahead of those BMSers!
