Ray, this is my 4th IUI but first with injections. I usually wait to POAS, it's still to early plus I don't want to see a BFN it will ruin my day.
My DH would also say I am *****y and way too emotional. If they were only in our shoes, I think then they would understand why we act this way.

We have a lot in common. This is my 4th IUI and my first with injections too!
What meds were you on? I did Follistim, Ganorelix and then Ovidrel Trigger.
I did back to back IUI's this cycle on 7/23 & 7/24, I got only 2 follies from the meds.
I usually wait it out, I figure why be upset any earlier than necessary, but then again as the 2ww draws to an end I get antsy...so we will see!
Oh please DH, I wish they could somehow someway reverse roles with us just for one day...please they would be running for the hills...ha ha!
Do you believe my calf is still kind of sore from that freaking charlie horse?

Hi Ray -
We do have lot's in common. The injection medication I used was Menopur plus the trigger shot, one IUI done 7/24. Now I am taking progesterone.
I had 4 follies with the meds. I also get antsy so I might POAS on Saturday that will be day 12. Of course, I will be so upset if it's a BFN!
How long have you been TTC? My DH and I became pregnant once naturally in Dec 2003 then M/C in Feb 2004 and ever since then we have been trying.
I can still feel my Charlie horse too in my calf.

I have been ttc#2 since Dec 04. My problems all started after I had my DS.
I will send you my story in a different post...it's quite long but it paints the picture better than me trying to explain it again!
I am now 37 yrs old. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?
Thursday I will be going away on a short trip so when I get back saturday, I will decide to POAS or NOT.
Keep me posted...I will be praying for you!

What part of NY are you from? We have a good friend that lives in Pelham. My DH and I have been to NY a couple of times we love it!
I am 38 years old. Congrats so you do have a son, how old? I hope someday to become a mother that is all I dream about now.
I almost caved in today and POAS but I decided not too. I will wait until Saturday if I can last that long!!! I will keep you posted. Let me know if you POAS on Saturday too.
Have a great trip and thanks for the prayers I am praying for a BFP for both of us!

I now live on Long Island, I grew up in Queens and yes I believe I know where Pelham is. It's close to the bronx if I am correct?
If you ever come back to NY for a visit, I would love to meet up for a drink..or two...or three . But hopefully we'll both be drinking Shirley Temples..if you know what I mean!
California, I was there a few times when I was a kid. My Aunt is in San Diego and my best friends brother works in LA, I forgot which town he resides in.
Yes, my DS was 2 in April. I am trying so badly to give him a sibling that it's making me nuts. The thought of him being an "only child" makes me sad. But believe me, I am grateful and thank god that I have him. Yana, trust me, you will be a mother, I just know it, I can feel it in my bones!
Here's a stupid question, what sign are you?

Yana, here is my story as originally posted: (Sorry it's long)
I am 37 yrs old and have a 2 year old DS. I took me 6 months to become pregnant (pretty good considering I only have one tube due to a past ectopic) and I gave birth to him via c-section. In January 2006 after ttc#2 for over a year, I decided it was time to see a specialist. By March 23rd, I was under the knife....via lap and this is what was found:
My uterus is pushed way up high out of my pelvis and has attached itself to my stomach lining. My right ovary was attached (stuck) onto my right tube and I have massive adhesions all over the place (scar tissue). Severely distorted reproductive organs is how it was put to me. My doctor video taped the surgery and showed it to us ...GROSS! When I asked him how this happened and if it was due to my c-section his exact words were "They did a sloppy job" You can imagine that I was livid after hearing those words.
So basically he removed all the scar tissue, took care of the ovary/tube situation but had to leave the uterus as is. DH asked if he could fix the uterus. Yes, he replied, via surgery, but it would not be productive since it's quite possible that the uterus would go right back to where it made it's home. So his approach to all this is IUI. He believes that the sperm is having a hard time getting to my dislocated uterus and since my right tube is functioning he thinks this may work.
So that's it....one tube, an unreachable uterus and a messy inside!
I am so so sorry that this is so so long....I just needed to vent! Thank you for listening!
Oh and as far as IVF is concerned....when I asked my RE he said that he normally does 3 natural IUI's first and then depending on the patient his actions vary. I believe that he feels age is a factor and wants to act quickly with IVF! However, he said he'll do whatever I want him to do. So I told him let's try a medicated cycle first!
I wish each and all of you the best of luck....

So then your sis would undertand the "terrible twos" quote! It's is so true, they are just into everything and anything!
I'm am Aquariun, Feb 15th but DS is an Aries, April 6th.
I have 2 SIL's pg right now...one goes in for scheduled c-section on this Thursday, the other (my brother's wife is due in November). In total I have 8 nieces and nephews and by November it will rise to 10....talk about being broke at Xmas.
So Shirley Temples it is...
Oh and yes, isn't that crazy with my c-section. At first I wan't going to sue but now I'm having a change of heart! We'll see what happens.
Alright if by chance I don't speak to you again (going away tomorrow), good luck if you POAS on saturday.
