I'm sitting here with the I-600A form and it says to submit birth certificates, marriage certificate, homestudy, and fingerprinting.
Can I submit this form without those things? Should I include a note? Do I pay the entire fee including fingerprinting fee at this point?
Thanks,
Shelby

when we did ours, we sent everything except the homestudy, but you should check with your local uscis office.

Shelby, Teresa is correct. I am in California too and sent my I-600 with copies of my Naturalization Certificate (I am single and foreing-born) and the complete fee incl. fingerprint fee. Then when my HS was completed I went in person to the INS office in L.A. and turned it in, by then I had already taken my fingerprints and my I-171h came a week later. My I-171h exp. two days before my court trip, I went in person again and they were supernice and scheduled me for new prints and got my newI-171h the day before departure
No note was necessary.
Good luck.

Tell me about it! I must have aged 10 years between referral and court. But as my mom used to say, you do forget the labor pains, even in the case of a paper pregnancy. So I forgot the paper labor. LOL.

Two things I will add. When you send in copies of your certificates, include a note stating that these are copies and that originals will be furnished upon request. Also, include a note that states that the home study will follow under separate copy. That way, the agent processing your application won't think you don't know that there needs to be a home study.
