I think you mentioned she has her chalazion removed on 3/6...I just wanted to send her good luck wishes and hopes that all goes well for her! It should be just fine but some good thoughts can't hurt! If she already had it removed and I missed an update please ignore me!
Hugs to her and to her mama, too,
Ccm

Wow...you have a good memory! I wasn't even going to post about it!! Yes, Caeley surgery was yesterday. It went well...the intake nurse who got her prepped has a 9 year old daughter from Guatemala..so she was very psyched to take care of Caeley. It was a lot different than last year when she had her teeth done..she was much more aware of what was going on and insisted she would not go to sleep..and even after the surgery while she was still a bit groggy insisted she did not sleep! Thats my girl...tough as nails.
Anyway, it had considerably shrunk and Dr. wasn't even sure she needed the surgery anymore..but they had already given her the sedative..so she did it and said there were just a few kernals left in there that needed some cleaning out. Caeley did not sleep the rest of the day (like she did last year after surgery)..but was pretty cranky till we bought her some toy makeup. Then in the late afternoon she was very cranky and very hyper...but still couldn't get to bed till normal time. Yeesh...I had had it..I took Keegan to judo, I needed a break!
Anyway, she is back at preschool today, has a slight scratch/swelling on eye and needs antibiotic creme on it for a week. Thanks so much for asking!!!Susan, mommy to Keegan (15) and Caeley Aura (10)

Susan ... Glad to hear everything went well and that Caeley got through the surgery like a trouper, though it does sound like it was a bit of an exhausting day for mommy.

There is nothing easy about medical procedures and hospital visits no matter how minor the event.
I'm glad sweet Caeley is home, hale & hearty!

So glad to hear that Caeley is on the mend. Eye procedures are kinda scary, so I am glad it is over.
