We'd never cut her hair....
I though it would be harder, but after this morning's fight over washing her hair it wasn't too tough. She can't take a bath with the broviac, she has to shower. It's been a fight and since her hair will be falling out shortly anyway, I cut it.
I had always imagined that the first time she got a haircut, it would be a mom/daughter thing at a salon, but she can't go to a salon right now, so I cut it. I was surprised that it's not tighter curls now that it's shorter...

Marie, I know it must have been so hard to cut those beautiful locks, and like you said, you imagined it happening so differently.... but, Marielle looks beautiful with short hair. And she'll look beautiful without it too. I know I don't need to tell you that Marielle just radiates beauty from her beautiful soul.

I love it! Her face is just to beautiful for words. I know how much you have anticipated this move, so I am sending out love and support your way.
She is precious and I pray that God just wraps his arms so tightly around Marielle, and of course the whole family.
