Emma home two years!!
Good evening friends,
It is so hard to believe, but in just a week, it will be two years since I brought my beautiful daughter home from Guatemala! I don't get a lot of opportunity to post, but I check the boards all the time. I celebrate each homecoming and pray for all of you still waiting to bring your children home. Today we celebrated Emma's family day with a party at McDonalds. We were thrilled to have many of her little friends from Guatemala, including two who were her roommates! Emma is now 2 years and 7 months, potty trained and beginning nursery school in the fall. She continues to amaze me everyday! I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that the two of us were meant for each other! I have attached a picture of Emma. For those of you who have recently brought children home, I wish you all the happiness in the world and for those of you waiting, please know we have all been there and we know how hard it is to wait, but it is so worth it! Emma is just beautiful....I agree with that feeling of how you were "meant to be together"...I know that beyond a shadow of a doubt our girls were "meant" to be with us too! Congratulations and Happy Family Day!
