Finally, we are out of PGN!!

Hi,
We finally got the call that we were released from PGN today

Finally!! We were in over 100 days and I didn't think we were ever coming out! The people at my agency sang an "I'm Happy your Out" song to me over the phone. I was crying in front of my 7th graders.
They said we might travel around Easter and she discussed the expensive flights and other changes around the holiday.

Does anyone know when things start slowing down, down there?
How long is it taking to get the pink slip?

YEA... that is wonderful news. I am not sure how long Pink is taking right now but things start slowing down during Lent (semana santa)... which is right now

But we picked Alondra up during Lent and it didn't really get bad until about a week before easter... so you have time.

If you get down during Lent.... definately go to Antigua (they charge you a small amt to get in the city). The processionals are amazing to watch, a little crowded and smokey from the incense but a wonderful experience. I loved watching them make the Alfombra's (flower carpets on the ground that the processionals go over). I would recommend going with a guide since it can be a bit crazy.

I am SO thrilled for you all, what wonderful news!

It took us almost exactly three weeks (three and one day) to get our pink slip for Camryn. We fly out Sunday to pick her up.

I've been watching for your post, and I am just so thrilled for all of you that you are finally out. The wait is nothing short of torture, and the anticipation is very all-encompassing, but to finally get the news, well, the new feelings are just beyond belief!

May you be blessed with a very quick trip to PINK!!!
