Coverage Denied because of tubal surgery

Has anyone had the experience of having IF coverage and then switching coverage and they denying because of past tubal ligation reversal surgery? Any info welcomed. Thanks.

No i am sorry. IF you switched coverage I thought that they cannot exclude any pre existing condition.

I eventually won my appeal last year and did 2 cycles but the ins. co. put arbitraries again on denying my med coverage for my IUI's so I ultimately had one last cycle that I bailed on in August. It's called evidence based practice now that all the insurers are going to and find ways to stop coverage and it isn't just related to IVF. The medical director said I wasn't responding. I was getting follicles and had great E2 levels BUT since I wasn't getting pg. I wasn't responding and didn't take into account underlying immune factors and basically used my age as discrimnination. They went back and looked at all my prior medical records even though I was pg. and had a loss I wasn't responding. They changed the interretation to fit their own needs. I work in a law firm and really was contemplating sueing them but honestly it just wasn't worth the hastle and unfortunately we still need the coverage for the family so the heck with it. Ultimately I'm not ttc anymore and may do IVF late summer last ditch effort but messing around I wasted 6 months with these idiots.
