Well, as a little update... the doc that initially prescribed the Clomid was my OB/GYN. I switched to an RE, who advised that they always have their patients take the Clomid cd3-7, which is what I ended up doing for the three cycles I was on it. Had hot flashes, some mood swings/crying spells, my ta-tas got huge (dh was happy about that!). But- never ovulated, and started having visual changes on 100mg! On to Femara next month
So I don't know if cd3-7 was any better than 5-9, but it didn't work for me. I'm more than likely Clomid resistant since I'm all of 105 pounds. But thanks for the info ladies!!

Ktaylor08 --- did your doc mention anything about using a trigger shot (something like Ovidrel?) I used clomid too, but couldn't ovulate until I used the shot and that was my magic ticket. Just something to consider...although I also hear a lot of good things about Femara!
