Can Clomid Cause Cycle Changes Even When You Are On A Break???

I always ovulated. on day 17 or 18. I had 2 recent clomid cycles in which I triggered on day 14. Now I'm on a break and according to my opks and ovulation symptoms I just ovulated yesterday on DAY 14. I've NEVER ovulated so early without drugs. Can clomid cause changes even after taking it???

Great news on the earlier O. It's possible that the clomid cycles helped your body understand what and when it should be doing things.

I think it has lingering effects for a few months afterwards, with some of us being more sensitive than others.

I must say I am a total believer in this now. I am on a break cycle and to my knowledge have never ovulated until I started seeing my RE and taking clomid. I went to the RE today b/c I am on CD 17 and still bleeding..not heavy, but annoying. I had an u/s and was in complete amazement when the tech told me I had a 16mm follie on my left side. I go back on Tuesday to see if this follie will O or not or if we need to do something to get me to stop this AF and start a fresh cycle.

Yes, it can. My drs explained that a cycle is actually "set" the month before. The cycle after my Clomid cycle was a mess!! (Glad your experience was positive). My second cycle was back to normal.
