Looking for an RE in Indiana/Ky/Ohio

We live in Southern Indiana and are only 2 hours from Indianapolis, 1 hour from Louisville, Ky and 1 hour from Cincinnati, Oh. Anyone have any recommendations for Re's in these area? I have heard great things about Dr. Gentry but he is in Indianapolis and if there is one that comes as highly recommended as him closer that would be great!

    Thanks!

Cross post of my response on another board:

    ANGELA --
I'm in the greater Cincy area & chose Dr Awadalla at Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH). It was a tough decision choosing between the 3 clinics here in Cinti. I seriously considered using Dr Thomas at Center for Reproductive Health (CRH) which is at Christ Hospital since that is the clinic where the Univ of Cinti docs practice, but opted to try Dr A since he was one of the original IVF guys in Cinti way back when he was at Bethesda Hospital many years ago. The only clinic I totally ruled out right away is the current clinic at Bethesda Hospital (www.bethesdafertility.com) - mainy due to the distance from home/work to their site which is now on the north side of town. Another factor ruling them out was that I just didn't know anyone who had used them since Dr A and Dr. Chin (who is no longer doing IVF) ran that clinic probably over 15 years ago. Physicians I work for have used Dr. Thomas and co-workers have used Dr A's center. I think the main reason I chose Dr A is that I remembered him from his days at Bethesda when I worked in the office across the hall from his office & liked his personality at that time.

There was also an article on the front page of the Cincinnati Enquirer this morning talking about the shared risk programs at IRH & CRH - here is link to the article (Shared Risk newspaper article). Must have been to raise awareness since it's National Infertility Awareness Week. I think you'll find some useful information in the article and on the clinic websites.

I wish you luck in your quest for a clinic.

Thanks so much everyone! I have a HUGE list of RE's from my insurance company of who is covered with 100 miles from my house and would you believe I had 4 pages to sift through??? Of course many of them were listed several times because of having more than one office but WOW! Thanks for all the advice!
