Oops, I'm pregnant again...anyone succeed a 2nd time with no immune issues?
Those are four words I"d never thought I'd say.
But last pg. I needed IVIg, Lovenox, progesterone and a raft of folic acid to keep the pregnancy. I'm a pt. of Dr. Coulam's (have an 11am there tomorrow, to determine viability). I may be as little as 6w or as much as 8w pregnant now. I was not planning this pregnancy. I just turned 40. My husband is unemployed, and we have no insurance now. He starts his new job next Monday and insurance on December 1st. IVIG is not an option, though BCBS paid for it last time (my sticky is up top, with the DX codes ![]() My previous plan (and hubby's employer) was a premium plan - he worked for a dental insurance company so they had the best health plan possible. Alas, this next plan may be decent (also BCBS) but probably not quite as good. And it's six weeks away. Not enough time to save a pregnancy. So I guess I'm looking for a reality check and maybe some hope. Anyone conceive a second time after a live birth and have your NKs go DOWN, not up? I asked about intralipids to the clinical coordinator at Dr. C's office and of course she couldn't tell me for sure but said that it's not always successful but depends upon your particular problem (in otherwords, wait for the doctor to tell you). Ann
