M/C mentioned -- QUICK ??? is it safe to stop Lovenox abruptly?

Today's 8 week u/s confirmed m/c. (from chromosome issues with DE/DS).

My RE is in the States and I had the u/s too late to call to ask.

I'm assuming I can stop the Baby A. and estrace and prometrium and hcg boosters and PIO.

Is there any problem in abruptly stopping the 30 mg of Lovenox?

Thanks!

Dana

Dana - I was on Lovenox and asked Beers and they said it was fine. I also asked my regular Dr because I don't have alot of faith in Beers. She said it is very mild and short-acting and that it is ok to stop it completely. But I was on it starting cycle day 6- so roughly 6 wks.

Dana... I'm so sorry sweetie... what a horrible journey you've endured and big :hugs: to you at this time.

I concur that stopping the Lovenox will not be a problem - it's a relatively low dosage that women are taking to sustain.

Ally

m/c mentioned

Thanks. Well, I definitely have confirmation that my lining was nice and plump. I've bled an incredibly amount (for me) since Friday and today pregnancy was still there and lining thick. Will have the D & C at 10 weeks.

I had dreadfu headaches and was concerned it might have been from clotting, but OB said it was from the estrogen plummeting.
