I guess Intralipids is the new trial treatment?

PREG AND LOSS MENTD

Intralipids were just suggested to me at my follie check today (middle of IVF#3). I was looking for it under the alternative treatment board but now see a bunch of info posted here about it. Seems like a lot of REs are trying this.

I've had 2 fresh cycles fail. (1st IVF we saw a sac but nothing else)(Did 2 FETs. 1st one I did get preg but my son had a medical condition and was stillborn. 2nd FET BFN.)
This along with a clinical trial for PICSI were suggested this morning.

With my last IVF (last month) they started me on Lovenox right after ET. I was dx with MTHFR after delivering my son in Nov after my son's placenta came back as small and showing some clots- not reason or cause of what happened to him.

I'm going to reread the post about Intralipid and Lovenox.

What has everyone's outcome been with Intralipid? Did you get pregnant after that treatment?

Melissa - I hope the intralipids help. I am on this thread now also because I just went to see a reproductive immunologist for the 1st time and now I am waiting for tests to come back on 18 vials of blood! I do have 1 mutation for MTHFR (though it is the least severe mutation).

Sherri!
When I had all that blood work taken they didnt find squat except for the MTHFR. I wanted some answers, some reasons for why what happened happened. But I got nothing.

Melissa

I know what you mean about wanting an answer. When I had the m/c panel done all they found was MTHFR (least sever mutation of that) and nothing else. The RI is doing further testing - NK killer cells and other stuff not really sure. I hope they can help me.

I hope the intralipids are the key.
