Help! Now what??

So earlier this year I discovered I had high APA's along with homo for MTHFR so with a June IVF I was on every possible drug possible (pred, intralipid, lovanox....). I had a very low beta that eventualy dropped and I am now suffering my 3rd m/c in 2 years. All 3 day 5 blasts that I was told could result in triplets resulted in this!! My lining was over 10 so it was not that and we were correcting for immune issues so I am so disappointed it did not work and after 5 fresh and 2 frozen we are still in this place. Can anyone suggest anything that has worked for them??? Any seeds of hope would be appreicated right now.

cookie,
I'm so sorry to hear of your m/c and can understand the hurt and disappointment.
There is one avenue that I can open up to you which may present some hope. MAny girls take a course of antibiotics or go through a whole other regime through Dr. Toth and end up successful with IVF's. In some instances it is an undetected bacterial infection that could be causing the immune system to go into overdrive. Also, are you also taking all the proper combinations of vitamins like B's and the folic acid to address the MTHFR?

There are many threads on this board if you want to search both MTHFR and also Dr.Toth to see if there would be anything in there that could be of interest of what others have done to succeed. There are also women who take Enbrel (a further major immunosuppressant) to help them along.

Take care and try to keep a positive outlook taht there is a specific combo and timing that may work yet with the immune treatments.
Ally
