When to Start Prednisone?
I have a question for those of you who have used prednisone. When did you start this drug and what made you and your doctor decide to try it?
My doctor said I can incorporate it during my next FET cycle. She said I would start it around the transfer time. I have read that others start this when they start lupron. Should I tell her I want to try it sooner, or is there a reason for starting at transfer time?

Hey butterfly...
I started my prednisone during a natural conception cycle around CD 9 and conceived around CD 17. There are stories of success for starting at varying times during a cycle. I think starting at transfer allows for it to have some impact for sure.... maybe even a compromise with your doc and start a few days ahead of transfer. It is mainly there to insure a strong implantation (my doc used to say it was like the "crazy glue" that made the embryo stick....!) I hope that this helps a little bit. best of luck and let us know how the transfer and FET goes... Ally
