immune problems?

Here is a little about me, Iīm hoping someone could help me, cause I donīt know what to think. Dh and I ttc 1 for about 6 years, we did 3 IVF's all failed, so we switched doctors, the new RE ran some bloodwork and it came up that I did have some immunological stuff, this was a long time ago, and she explained it to us, but it's complicated cause the test has different aspects or parts to it,so out of I don't know how many parts it came back that Idid have some. Basically like your body attacks the embryos. Anyway, we were devasted but at the same time we knew what was wrong. Well we were scheduled to do ivf #4, but we cancelled cause we decided to wait and save more money. The month after we cancelled the ivf, I got pregnant naturally, without any treatments. So I was very confused! If I had that how could I get pregnant naturally, obviously my son is a miracle. Anyway, after he was born we tried again for 6 more years and nothing. Right now we just did another ivf cycle and it was negative. We just started another ivf cycle this month and now i'm left wondering if maybe I still have that. It's weird. I don't know what to think. Has anyone been through something like this, or have any idea? Thanks.

Personally, I know that my ANA levels fluctuate. So your immune response may have fluctatued to allow for your "miracle". Although some immune issues get worse or show up after a first pregnancy is complete. I would suggest being retested.

dukercook- I didnīt know the levels fluctuate, that could explain how I got my son. I think itīs a great idea, to get retested, I hadnīt thought of that. Itīs like you just opened my eyes. I think Iīll do that. Thanks for the great advice.

I know with my 2nd pregnancy my ANA was almost normal. But from my understanding, once you are positivie you always are. My RE put me on prednisone to make sure that I did not have an inflammatory response while trying to get pregnant.

Good luck, and keep us posted.
