Weakly Positive Lupus Anticoagulant?
During a totally unrelated health episode, my neurologist stumbled upon a test result showing I have a "weakly positive lupus anticoagulant." When I mentioned this to my RE, he said we wouldn't worry about it until I had a miscarriage.
But, the neurologist said "well, you could be having miscarriages and not knowing it." Anyone have insight on this subject? I am currently in my 2ww after my 3rd IUI, and just curious...

yes, anytime there are "weak" positives for anything that could be related at all to autoimmune conditions, blood clotting potential or connective tissue conditions, then there is a risk that your body could be rejecting conceptions so that you are in fact not aware that you are cnoceiving and may be m/c.
I think that you may benefit from a full panel of blood work especially in the areas of treatment where the doc may allow you to be on heparin or prednisone to help sustain a prg. -check out the links and test panels pinned here okay? best of luck, Ally
