look at the stickys above. dr. beer and immunology stuff. elevated nk cells are related to an overactive immune response. circulating blood levels however, may differ from nks in uterine lining. testing for and topic in general may be very controversial amongst some practitioners. i have read some mds think blood circulating nks and their cousins in uterine lining vary greatly and can not be correlated. uterine biopsy too broad or vague a test because lining thickness varies where and when sample removed. not a good indice for "real"measurement will get varying results.

If you have NK cells in your uterus (diagnosed by endometrial biopsy) the treatment is generally Humira. If you have high levels of NK cells in your blood (or elevated killing power) the treatment is likely to be intralipids or IVIG. LIT can also be helpful.
