Lovenox question

Hello,
I have a question about Lovenox/Heparin. I have read many posts that say that they took it twice a day. Well, I only took it once a day. I think that it what Dr. Beer said to do. I am APA+ and have hetero MTHFR. I am starting to wonder if I took enough.

Can you all tell me how much you have taken in your protocols? Or what the standard amount is for my immune problems?

Thanks, Kris

I was also a Dr Beer patient and also took Lovenox only once a day. I took 30mg and weighed approx 125 lbs. I was also successful! Trust Dr Beer, he is the best.

Best of luck to you!

Kris, with the LMW (low molecular weight) type of blood med like Lovenox, you only need to take one injection daily.

You are thinking of heparin which is the original form of blood thinner med --it is required in daily injections 2 times a day. The lovenox is becoming more popular with patients and docs due to the fact that it "lives" longer in the blood stream and is delivered differently so you only need to take one injection a day. Some docs do split up the dosage and ask you to do 2 injections a day once a positive prg. begins just to ensure the masximum benefit of the med.

hope this helps -seems like you are doing right thing... I wonder, Lynn did you increase the lovenox to twice daily during prg. or just stay on one a day injection?
Ally
