Broke my own cardinal rule about beta testing!!

and I didn't go get my beta levels drawn on weds. as I was going to do..

... this makes me very mad at myself as I've been experiencing a weird menstruation and Lynn's words are ringing in my "cyber" ears that she thought she had fullblown AF when found out prg. with her DD....

SO... I'm on CD4 today (or so I thought) and I've still got like "shows" of bright pinkish red blood but it is not coming out on the pad!.... --I know that I'll just feel better to get to the specialist and get my info. on the blood clot stuff and I guess I'll have them do a beta check as well on Monday...

It's not that I'm grasping too hard at straws but I always tell everyone else to go and get the quantitative beta drawn just in case there are #'s there and I didn't do it myself!!

: - also I'm confused over my body's signals -it is like today I started again with a lower backache and all my AF type cramps should be long over by CD4??!! I'm usually heavy bleed 2 days, lite on the 3rd and mostly done with just old looking blood on Day 4/5... this period? is nothing like that!? I know that it could be the combined blood thinning meds I've been on but I'm still angry at myself for not confirming there is no conception and /or beta level!!

Also, I don't know what the standard protocol is for getting off the prednisone?? The last time I took it we conceived DS straight away and I just was weaned off it gradually... is there a need to wean off it in between unsuccessful cycles?? my doc and I never discussed this and I guess I'll have that to ask as well on Monday...

Tsk! Tsk! I won't beat you up anymore about not getting the beta--you've done plenty of that already! You've been on the Coumadin while NOT ttc right? Were your AF's different then? Or are you on it just for the ttc?
What you are describing DOES sound a lot like what I had w/DD. Sort of a period "starting" for a few days but never advancing past that.
I'm sorry you are hanging in limbo. I'm still praying that this all turns out to be a BFP!

Keep us posted-we are pulling for you!
