Taking shots - Fertile Thoughts

veda Registered User Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 115	Taking shots I read many messages that people are scared of shots. This tip from my wonderful nurse is helping me. Hope you all know it. Hold an ice cube(for SC) or ice brick(for IM) on the site you are about to receive your shot until it is fully numb or the skin beneath has blanched out completely. Then immediately wipe off the wetness with the alcohol swab and poke.
