I think it's this month's cooking magazine called Vegetarian Times has given a run down on all the fake stuff out there. (if not last month for sure) None of them are really worth it though, imo. I stick to sugar if I really have to use it

I have never heard anything negative about Splenda. I do know that it is considered much better/safer than aspertame because it is derived from sugar instead of completely chemical junk!
My mom is diabetic and uses Splenda and has no problems!Hope that helps. Carrie
