    Laproscopic myomectomy

    Has anyone had this done?

I have endo/fibroids. Have had surgery before but they are both back. Suffered a m/c last year and I do believe that I will need surgery again. As this is a minimally invasive surgery that preserves fertility, I wondered if anyone has had this and have been successful with pregnancy post surgery.

This must be a relatively new procedure! I did not realize they could go into the uterus via lap! That's great

Best of luck and please udate afterwards and let us know how it goes!

I just had hysterscopy last week to remove a fibroid. They go in through the. . . well, you know, no incisions needed. I also had a lap. at the same time to take care of a cyst and check my tubes. That required incisions in the bellybutton, bikini line and one on my side. All scars seems very small. The down side is that I needed a uterine catheter to prevent adhesions and that was a bit uncomfortable, but I had little post operative pain. If you need more info., PM me.
