Niku - yes the other girls are right. Once you get into the high numbers, it takes longer than 2 to 3 days for it to double. Yours is rising very nicely so you have nothing to worry about
The bleeding thing happened a couple times before (long time ago) but when I passed hard stool / ie constipated. I overanalyze everything maybe that's why I freaked out a little. Mine is not really very very small tiny bit, it's definitely noticeable on the napking (not like A/F bleeding but definitely more than a small tiny amount). I couldn't open the link that you posted but I'm so curious to read it, can you please re-post? The doc said if I was further along in my pregnancy and carrying lots of weight that could be another reason but I'm not that far along. I have been feeling senstive / light burning sensation in that area all day today. I pray that it's nothing and the test comes back negative. Do you have dark stool as well due to your prenatal and iron intake?

Ugh...for some reason, every time I type the name of the website, it does this - *********. Okay go to the google website and just type in "hemorrhoids during pregnancy" and it will be the first one - the baby center website. I had only a little bit, but it seems like having more is still common. Mine have been dark at times recently also.

AKD - The exact same thing happened to a good friend of mine (who is due to have her first baby today!). Her doctor did some tests to rule anything out, but also told her it was highly unlikely to be anything serious. He was right! She's totally fine, and I'm sure you will be, too.
Niku - I've definitely read online that betas take longer to double once they are high (I think over 1000?). So it sounds to me like you're still doing reall well. And just a few more days until our first u/s's, so hopefully we'll both see a heartbeat and be able to relax together!

Good Morning Ladies...
Yesterday and today no pain or bleeding when I wipe, so hemmarhoid (sp?) is resolving itself. I will be submitting the samples anyways for testing.
Any ultrasounds coming up for any of you? I have my week 9 ultrasound this Wednesday - kinda nervous b/c I slept only 3 hours yesterday and the day was full of household chores. I hope I didn't stress my body and the baby. The only symptoms I have still are the lower back ache and veiny boobs - other than that nothing. Wednesday's u/s will put me at ease.

AKD - Yay for no pain and bleeding! I'm sure the testing will come back negative also and that your u/s will go great! What do they do at the 9w u/s? I have an u/s on Wednesday too....my first at 6w, which is a viability and dating u/s. Can't wait! I hope everything goes smoothly and we see a h/b so I don't have to stress about it.
SDDC - I bet you want it to be tomorrow already so you can get to your first u/s also!!! How are you doing?

AKD - That's great that your issues seems to have resolved themselves. I'm sure you're fine. And I'm sure your u/s will go great - you definitely have to keep us posted! Don't worry too much about occasionally missing sleep - I just read online that the baby sleeps whether you do or not, so you're fine. Just take care of yourself as best you can and try not to worry. I think it is largely out of our control at this point (although I know how hard that is to accept!)
Niku - Yes, I am counting the seconds until tomorrow. I have been feeling increasingly terrible (fatigue, nausea, sore breasts, etc), so I'm going to be pretty upset if there's not a viable fetus in there causing all this suffering on my end! On the flip side, I am hoping the cause of my suffering is not TWO viable fetuses! We definitely would freak out if it's twins. But, at this point, I just want healthy! Like you, I'm hoping for a nice strong heartbeat...can't wait to hear how yours goes!

AKD, woohoo on 9 week ultrasound. NO worries about lack of sleep and household chores. While not ideal, that sort of stuff just isn't going to hurt a fetus. My own ob/gyn said that while I should try to take it easy, not to worry about running after/lifting/etc my 30-lb-toddler!
Niku, don't stress if you don't see a heartbeat at 6 weeks! My RE didn't do a viability u/s on me until 6.5 weeks at the earliest because the heartbeat isn't always detectable before then. But I sure hope you see it, it's a huge milestone.
SDDC, good luck on your ultrasound tomorrow. Funny how we are sort of glad to be feeling terrible
AFM, I have my big anatomy ultrasound tomorrow, just a day shy of 22 weeks. I will feel HUGE relief to see a healthy child. I'm somewhat nervous, but the consistent movement I've been feeling lately has made me feel better. Then the next huge milestone is 24 weeks, which is considered viability!!!

Cville - Are you going to find out if it's a boy or girl? Good luck!
SDDC - Oh no...I'm not really feeling anything, which is why I'm so nervous about Wednesday. Good luck tomorrow!! Can't wait to hear about it!

Niku - try not to be nervous about symptoms. It's still really early, and besides - a lot of women don't have many symptoms and have very healthy pregnancies. I'm trying to have the attitude of "Until someone tells me there's a problem, I'm going to assume there are no problems." Easier said than done, I know
For now, count yourself lucky to not be trying to hide morning sickness at work - it's very tricky!
Cville - how exciting to have the anatomy scan! Let us know how it goes (and if you find out, whether it's a boy or girl).

Niku - don't worry at all about no symptoms. I am proof that you can get a healthy heartbeat without any symptoms. I was so so terribly nervous on my 7 week scan b/c I had no nausea, frequent urination, sore boobs - nothing usual. The only thing I had was an on and off back ache (I have a pretty bad back to begin with). I am almost 9 weeks and STILL have no nausea (which scares me). I felt a light wave of it this morning but lasted only about half hour and that's it. I stressed so much about no symptoms, but as long as you have no major cramping and bleeding - you're absolutely fine. I know you will see a healthy heartbeat on your u/s.
Cville - oh man! The anatomy scan must be so exciting (and I'm sure nerve wrecking). Since you feel your baby's movements all the time - you have nothing to worry about. But I know how you feel - I can't seem to enjoy my pregnancy b/c I keep thinking about my previous chemical pregnancy and the poor quality of eggs / embryos. With each day passing, it does definitely get easier.
SDDC - You seem to have all the "right" symptoms in the book. For sure you will see a healthy heartbeat. I can't wait to hear your updated tomorrow - best of luck!
My 9 week ultrasound is just a follow-up. I am not sure why they do a 7 and a 9 week ultrasound. I stop all meds at 10 weeks (kinda freaky). The next one after this one is the big 13-week milestone where they check for any development problems with the fetus (ie. down's etc.)
