Ladyanne - sorry you're feeling sick, but just think of it as a good sign! (easier said than done, i'm sure!) I'm going to get a bella band this week...I could use it with some of my jeans for sure.

Nico - thanks for the advice, very reassuring! My progesterone on Saturday was 64.22. Is that ok?

I FINALLY got a call from the clinic, my 2nd beta was 1,274! It went from 299 to that in 3 days, which I assume is good, right?

As for my early u/s request, she said that they don't do early ones unless there is a problem, so it looks like I'll just have to wait until the 11th. Another TWW I guess!

    Thanks for the welcome ladies!

Gundy - I'm sorry you have to wait for your u/s!!! But great beta and progesterone results!!! The progesterone should just be over 40 so that is a fantastic number!

Ladyanne - sorry you aren't feeling well I find I'm worse on the weekends because I'm not great at eating every few hours. I get busy with errands etc and forget to eat and then I get really nauseous. I am so much better with eating at work. Glad the belly band works! I've been thinking about getting one.

Nico - thanks for the summary! My due date based on my retrieval is Nov 30th so we're going with that for now. They change it at every appointment though :P How is your 2WW going? I'm so excited that you're TTC again!!!

UAE - just wanted to clarify. At my 7 week u/s I did not hear the heartbeat but we saw it. They said we could technically hear it at that stage but using the extra machine causes a lot of energy to go at the baby and it's really unnecessary. I would love to hear it but seeing it was fantastic! At that stage the peanut is only 1cm, if that, so seeing something flickering in there was so amazing! I can't wait for your u/s!!!

Kat - sorry about your allergies!!! I'm excited for your beta tomorrow! I know you'll come back with a great number!

AFM - 9 week scan and b/w today! I'm nervous, but excited. I just hope everything is ok. I'm still at the stage where I can't believe this is happening.

Jen and Ruby--Thanks for stopping by!

Amanda--congrats on the excellent second beta! Your beta is supposed to double every 48 hours, so that is definitely a great number. Sorry to hear about having the wait for the first u/s. I'm sure you'll be rewarded by not only getting to see the gestational sac and yolk sac like you would now, but also by getting to see that little heart beat

UAE--I can totally relate to your anxiety and worrying. I was the same way right after I got my BFP, especially since I had some light spotting right afterwards. I've found that as time goes by, I've become more relaxed. I'm viewing each day as a victory at this point and trying to enjoy it. I've also read that the risk of m/c after seeing the hearbeat is only 3%, so I am desparately hoping to see it at my u/s this thursday!

Amy--welcome and congrats again!! I hope that today's u/s goes well--keep us posted! As Nico mentioned, my BFP was from clomid and my EDD is 12/9/10.

Kat--welcome and congrats again to you too! Sorry to hear your allergies are bothering you. Oddly enough, until last week, I never once had allergies, but they kicked in full force! I read online that allergies can be worse (or suddenly appear) during pregnancy. I didn't want to take anything either, but after having my nose running like a faucet and sneezing uncontrollably for a couple of days, I called my OBGYN's office. The nurse said that you can safely take benadryl during pregnancy. I took just one pill on saturday, and the relief lasted all day. Fortunately, I haven't had to take any since. Might be worth a shot if you are still feeling badly.

LadyAnne--so sorry to hear about the nausea. Have you tried eating something bland like crackers right when you get up? I've heard that can help. Glad to hear that the bella band was a success. I'm definitely going to get one soon too.

    Cville--hope all is well!

I've seen quite a few people mentioning a facebook page. How can we join it? Would be great to see pics of everyone's pregnancies and little ones!

AFM, not too much new here. My symptoms are pretty much staying the same--tired, slight nausea, and much bigger, sore bbs. I go in for my 8 week u/s on Thursday. I am sooo nervous and excited at the same time!

Amanda, awesome beta, woohoo. And get progesterone, too. Sorry about the wait until the u/s--I know it's frustrating!

UAE--I am also a worrier. I'm still not really "excited" about this pregnancy--I just can't relax until I get closer to that 12-wk mark.

Kat--Ugh, allergies are miserable. Mine were really bad a few weeks ago, and Claritin (which the doc said was fine) seemed to help. It really dried me out, though.

LadyAnne, could you see the bella band? Were you worried your shorts would fall off? That's my fear

Bella, we are having very similar symptoms--exhaustion, nausea when I get to hungry, and big, sore bbs.

AFM, my 1st ultrasound is tomorrow morning. I am praying for a heartbeat and that all is well. Given that we had 3 follicles, we have a measurable chance of seeing more than one. I've been so mentally preparing myself for 2 or more that I think I will be upset if there's "only" 1. Is that crazy or what? Hello, I've already got a 16-mo DD! Yet I think I'd like 3 kids total and I just can't see going through fertility treatments AGAIN after #2.

    Breathe in breathe out

    Hi ladies

Nico - you don't know how much what you posted yesterday meant to me. You are totally right, there is NOTHING I can do (that I don't already do) to make sure I deliver a healthy baby (Jesus), so I might as well stop being worried sick. Might write it on a bright-coloured post-it by my desk in case I have a relapse Hope all is cool for you in the tww! and thanks again for the stats! Looks like the board is the best treatment for a BFP!

Kat2 - I totally know how you feel about being in disbelief, but I can assure you YOU ARE THERE WITH US. And I am so happy we'll be mums together. Sorry about the allergies and best of luck for the beta tomorrow

Amanda- this is an amazingly great beta! well done you! To be honest, who cares if your RE think you are crazy, hehe. and for the u/s, honestly, I think the one with the yolk sack is not really adding anything more, especially if your beta's are good.

Ladyanne - thanks for your thoughts and good luck with the u/s! so excited for you!! and be brave with the nausea, only a few weeks to go

Amy - thanks so much for the update on the 7 weeks u/s. Good luck for today!

Bella - you are so right, thanks for this, I will remember the little victory every day! Only a few days to go until Thurs, be brave

Cville - glad I am not the only worrier thinking of you for tomorrow, and keeping fingers crossed for 2 heart beats

Thanks ladies. Yes, I've tried crackers and ginger ale today, but some days I can't shake it. My sense of smell is super heightened today. I could smell coffee brewing from way across the office this morning. I smelled it like I was standing right next to the coffee pot.

Cville, Good luck tomorrow! It would be great to see two heartbeats!

The bella band comes in different sizes. I bought size 1, and it didn’t feel too tight or too loose. It pretty much stayed in place all day.
However, once I get further along I wonder if it will stay put. The band was a little longer than my tank top, but it just looked like I had another tank underneath.

Bella, Thursday will be here before you know it! There is a HA facebook page, but I am not an admin. I do believe Amy is though. I bet she can add you.

    Hi girls!

Quick update - my 9 week scan was FANTASTIC!!! I can't believe how much has changed in just 2 weeks. The little peanut is measuring right on at 8 weeks 6 days so my due date is still Nov 30th I couldn't believe it - we could see the baby moving! It's only 2cms long and only has the start of arms and legs, but we could see the baby kick and then it looked like it was doing the worm! I really didn't think we could see it moving so early.

I can't wait for all of you to have this experience! It is truly a miracle!!

Oh - and the heartrate was 171bpm! Looks like he/she is on track!

Ladyanne - so excited you get to see the same thing tomorrow (and maybe x2)

Hope you all have a great night!!

Amy - so happy to hear that!! I can't even imagine how relieved and happy you must feel tonight. It was actually moving?? That's so neat!
