Where is everyone?!
So, I think I overdid it on the weekend. I have this strong compulsion to get everything in the house in order! I cleaned every single window of the house, inside and out plus scrubbed the floors in the laundry under the washing machine etc. I made DH sort out the garage and he was busy putting shelving in. Poor DH, he just rolls his eyes at me as I am on his back constantly to get the house "in order before the baby arrives" (even though its probably perfectly fine as it is!). Anyway, last night I could hardly walk, my legs were so sore from squatting etc, at least I got a good work out! Is anyone else in nesting mode yet? Its such a wierd thing, I am never normally like this!
The other thing is that I am starting to gain quite a bit of weight. Most of it I think as gone into my belly and boobs BUT I am getting a bit of back fat and love handles which is freaking me out. The type that you can grab! ugh, scary!

Ruby-I am typically a clean freak, but last week DH and I did the same thing. We sorted shelves and did windows, basically more than my usual mopping and scrubbing. As a matter of fact last Monday after working 36hours, I woke up early to hit the gym, went grocery shopping, did all the mirrors, bathrooms, mopped, scrubbed the kitchen, dusted... my typical Monday. Well I decided to let the floors dry, and I was going to chill on the bed for 15 minutes and watch Racheal Ray. I ended up falling asleep for over an hour (I didn't even hear the phone ring three different times). But it does make you feel better when your house is in order
And I hear you on the weight gain, mine is all chest.

Tac - What type of exercises are you doing?

Ang-Well I am only working out 4 days a week (compared to my usual 7 days a week, and sometimes twice a day). So I do cardio on all 4 days, usually 30-45 minutes. And then I just do a 4 day split (Monday Chest and Bi, Tuesday Shoulders, Wednesday Legs, and Thursday Back and Tri). I am avoiding any exercises laying flat and sticking to mostly incline chest exercises. I am still doing squats and lunges. But at the same time, I am definitley not working out at my usual intensity.

Ruby, you are in your 3rd tri now, right? I always gained the most in other areas of my body in my 3rd tri. My face would get chubbier, arms, legs, etc. Don't worry at all! You'd be amazed how fast it comes off after the baby. If you are eating decent and your body is gaining some fat, it's because the baby needs it and you do as well! (I know how hard it is mentally...I struggle with it daily also!)
Ang-I had my 2nd u/s at exactly 6w4d and they could see the tiny, flickering hb!!! It was amazing, truly. It was so small, but I saw it right away and my heart nearly exploded with excitement. Praying you'll get to see yours also!
Tomorrow is my big u/s. I'm nervous as heck and so excited that I decided the only way to get through today is to clean and organize my home top to bottom and bake some cookies. If you pray, please pray for a great u/s!

Blondemom and TAc - Thanks! I am so nervous and excited.
Has anyone ever heard of PCS - Pelvic Conjestion Syndrome? I think I may have it. My pelvic area is swollen. I guess it is normal....I read it can happen in the second month. At least that is what it said in, "What to expect when you're expecting."

Ang - as long as they do transvaginal, they should be able to see a hb. Don't even let them try abdominal - all you'll see is a sac. They did that to me and I about freaked that it was empty. Also, then they charged my insurance and me for 2 u/s one abdominal and one vaginal. The doc ordered the transvaginal, so I think they did the abdominal for profit.
