Kels- I just read your post. Too funny about your autistic student! I have a student who is quite the opposite. Our speech teacher was pregnant and he would often try to touch her belly. Although he hasn't seen me pregnant, he knows I have an 8 month old and is fascinated by it! Each day in homeroom he asks me to show him pictures of Bryce on my iphone. Of course I have started using that free time as a bargaining tool to get him to do his work. He is so precious and is DYING to meet Bryce. I promised him at the end of the year I will bring him to school. The only thing I asked was no touching!
Hope you are continuing to feel well. Even though it's hard as a teacher, don't feel badly if there are days you just have to sit and put your feet up. If your school is anything like mine, there are always mother hens around forcing you to take it easy

Hi ladies, just had my u/s and everything great!! Saw and heard the heartbeat (170bpm) and baby measuring one day ahead at 7 weeks 5 days. What a relief!!! There is a small amount of fluid in my uterus which could be the cause of the bleeding I had but nothing looking serious. My symptoms returned over the past couple of days too so was feeling a bit more reassured when I went in for the u/s but tears rolled down my face when I saw the heartbeat! Thanks so much for all your support and prayers don't know what I would do without you all xxxxx

Thanks everyone, I am sitting here with the biggest smile on my face, what a stressful and nerve wracking few days. I have an appt with my OB in 3 days time and then booked in for my NT scan on May 10. Starting to feel more real now! Funny story, dh couldn't go to my u/s because he is away for a couple of days on a business trip. When I called him to tell him the good news the first thing he asks is "did you find out the sex?". Totally clueless! Had to explain that baby is just a blob on the screen at the moment. He is been through the whole process before and yet not much must have sunk in!
Kelly - 12 lbs, yikes!! Were you overdue? How did your mom cope with your birth?! Glad your bubba was kicking up a storm, cute!
Millie - any signs of 'o'?
Nico - my brother just went through the process of selling his house and the nightmare of cleaning and keeping house looking "unlived" despite having 2 kids! He sold it the first weekend it was listed, hope the same happens to you!
Once again, I can't express enough thanks for all your well wishes. We have such a great support network going on and I'm proud to call you my friends. Ok, must go, getting teary!!
