Millie - hope you got through your first day of work successfully! Since I have been pregnant I have been having the craziest of dreams and last night you were in it! DH and I went over to your place and were chatting to you and your DH (which is bizarre because a. I dont even know what you look like and b. you live half way round the world from me). We were talking about this board and how we had become friends and about being pregnant. Your DH and my DH were chatting and laughing! I then woke up in the middle of the night to pee and I was thinking "I must remember this dream and tell Millie". How funny!

Allison - I have a feeling I wont show until later because I am tall as well. My friend who is my height and now 39 weeks didn't really start showing until the 3rd trimester either!

Hi girls! Well, two days of work down It's going well, but I am SO tired at the end of the day. I'm going to bed soon! I have been feeling OK. It seems like as long as I get enough rest and eat every 3 hours, it keeps the nausea at bay. I am working days for the first 3 months or so and then moving to the night shift.

Eliza - Your belly is so cute!

Ruby - That is too funny about your dream! It makes me wish we really COULD meet in person.

Oh, and the belly talk is great! In a weird way I can't wait to have a bump too!!

Millie - I know what you mean about being tired after a day at work. I am so exhausted, I have been in bed most nights by 7.30pm/8pm!

millie- I'm glad work went well! I'm sorry you are so tired though! I'm glad you are going to bed early! Thanks for the belly compliment!

ruby- how is your m/s? I hope you are feeling better!

ellie- Speaking of m/s, is yours totally gone now? Can't wait to find out the sex of your beans! So exciting!

Jessk- I hope tax season isn't killing you!! How are the headaches?

Well, I had my first official appointment with my OB today. There is actually a multiples clinic at the women's clinic I go to. My OB was very nice as was his team. They did another u/s and both babies were very active. They had a hard time getting a measurement because they wouldn't hold still! I hope they calm down before they are born! They were both measuring right on and everything looked good. I have my next u/s in 4 weeks. I'm going to go through u/s withdrawl!! After that I have to go in every 2 weeks to check my cervics. Anyhow, it was good to see that the babies were healthy (as you ladies know it's hard not to worry in between appointments!)

Eliza - that is great news about the 2 babies still doing well! How funny that they are so active already - the siblings are already competing against each other!!! haha. I know what you mean about monitoring withdrawal - that 4 weeks between my beta and u/s was the longest, most drawn out 4 weeks of my life. I still have just under 3 weeks until my next one! My m/s is still here and as bad as ever! Just when you think you might be turning the corner then bang, it returns! I have been struggling BUT the only good thing is that it reassures me slightly letting me know that all is still well in there! Hope your doing ok without your Mom around! How is your m/s?

Ellie - I really cant wait to hear about the sexes! Do you have any gut feelings so far? Eliza - how about you? Any feelings as to the 2 little ones?

ruby- I'm a little worried that they are going to be hyper-active! My m/s has gotten worse in the last week too. I thought it was going away, but NO! I'm sorry you are still suffering from it! Hopefully it won't last much longer, but I know what you mean, it lets you know that things are going strong! It's been pretty rough without mom but she comes back Sunday, YAY! As far as the sex goes, I just keep thinking that they are both boys. It would be cool to have at least 1 girl because I would like DD to have a sister but obviously I'll take whatever I get and love them! What about you, do you have any feelings either way? You said you guys are going to wait and not find out the sex, correct? I think that's exciting! One thing that I have heard, and my Mom claims it's true, is that if you have bad m/s it's probably a girl. However, my sister had the worst morning sickness and had to be hospitalized because of dehydration and she had boys both times!! I guess it's an old wives tale!

eliza, I definitely think that any symptomatic relation to the sex of the child is an old wives tale. My sister had exactly the same symptoms with her two pg, a boy and a girl, and I had totally different symptoms with my two, both boys. I know people who've been really sick with girls and boys both. I think the only way to know is the u/s, and even those aren't 100%!

ruby, I started really showing at 16 weeks with my first pg.

i have to say, I miss my bump!! :-)

Eliza/Nico - yes I have heard that old wives tale but the more people I speak to the more I realize how the symptoms can be so varied and not indicative of the sex! I have a feeling I am having a boy - maybe its because I saw a psychic who said I was having a boy! I dont really believe in that stuff but the psychic has been extremely accurate so far in what she said to me! Having said that I am happy with either sex first time around, just as long as they are healthy! It took me so long to get here that I dont want to be fussy! And yes, we are going to wait the full 9 months to find out

hey girls! Looks like I'm the early bird... everyone post so late at night!

Eliza- Oh I'm so sorry the M/s is Back for you! My M/S has pretty much gone... (but last week I did have some, so I hope it really is gone.) I still have some food adversions though. Some things I used to love, I actually Hate now! But lately, I have had a LOT of gas and just a general uncomfortable feeling..Already! Also, I'm having a lot of Heart burn. I have gained another 3 lbs over the weekend, and people are now starting to ask around to find out if I'm pregnant! (they wont actually ask me, because they dont want to upset me, if I'm not) but I feel like my belly has grown THE MOST this week! and my whole stomach area is tender, and a little achy at times? Have you had any discomfort? gas?

Ruby- that's exciting your going to wait the full 9 mo! I Dont really have any gut feelings- But t he nurse told me last week she was predicting 2 boys... dont know why, maybe it was how fast the Heart beats were..

Eliza- do you know what your babies Heartbeats were? My 2 babies went from 170-180 at 8 weeks to 145 BPM each! (at 14 weeks) That's a big jump Backwards, dont you think? or Anyone? (i dont really know whats normal though?)
