resa-Our dog sheds bad too. She used to be scared to death of the room that is now the nursery and would not go near it. I thought it was because the vacuum was kept in there and she freaks out if she even hears it rolling, without it turned on. But, when I painted the room to the off-white color, she goes in there now, even when the vacuum is sitting out. I thought it was a good thing that she wouldn't go in there, but now I guess she thinks she is interested and wants to see all that is going on in there. What a funny girl! She probably thinks it is all for her. She is in for a BIG surprise!! She has been more clingy lately. I told DH that she can probably tell that something is about to happen and that she isn't going to be the center of our attention anymore!! I am sure she will still get plenty of love, but right now, it is kind of pathetic how much we baby her.

KS girl- That is so cute. Mac, our lab, is a very sensitive dog, and he has always been very intune with me and lately he has just been walking up and laying his head down on my leg and just looks up at me with the cutest little eyes. Its like he is saying "will I still be your baby". My other dog, Ally a Munsterlunder, is rambunctous and I think will care less, she is very tough and loves hunting in the yard and killing stuff. We say she is our little boy and Mac is our littel girl. He even tattles- they each have their own beds to lay on during the day, if Ally lays on HIS bed (which she is the dominate one in the house) then he just comes over to one of us and just stares at us until we figure out why he is upset and we make her go to her own bed. BTW- both are scared to death of the vaccum too.

hey everyone, having posted in awhile over here. I still read the other HA board almost every day. I still cant believe I might actually have a baby. I will hit my 13th week tomorrow, and am almost out of the first trimester. I had an US at the 11th week, everything seemed okay, but wont prob have another one until the 20th week. Is that normal? I still feel good, no major symptoms. Haven't really gained much weight this first trimester, but I still walk everyday and jog 2-3 d a week.

I am still trying to catch up on all the posts so sorry I couldn't say Hi to everyone.

Dana- You are so cute, and your nursery is awesome.

dana- just curious, what website did u use to post your pics- since we are out of town, far from the family, we would like to be able to post pics too...and your website is perfect, bc its simple- im not the most tech savvy...

resa- we need some new pics of the belly!!!!!!!

So, the latest on me is that i have now become a paronoid mommy to be...ever since loosing baby #2, I am SO worried about baby #1....Im so concerned that im going to loose this baby- and not know it! My nausea is getting a lil better, but still prevents me from eating quite a bit of the foods i used to love, and the new thing is that Im starving!!!!!! I am so hungry ALL the time! I mean, we went to dinner last night- I had black bean soup, a huge bowl, chicken breast and a huge salad w tons of stuff on it, along w half my husband's fajitas! an hour later, I was ravenous again...at this rate, I will be huge- Im still working out, 5 days and am trying to eat healthy- lots of snacking to avoid nausea and h/a- nuts, granola, dried fruit, protein bars and shakes- were any of you this way w hunger??

gold- I lost the card, but my sister will get the website and i will post it for you...

dana- too cute- you are def a "model" of a pregnant lady- I hope I look as great as you do!!!!! were you working out at all during your pregnancy?

Question: what are all of ya'lls thoughts on exercise during pregnancy? I have been going to the gym 5 days/week, only for about 30-40 min total- I do maybe 20-30 min of cardio- elliptical, stair, bike, sometimes treadmill- but not for long, and then a few light weights sometimes and the ball...My OB says its fine, and im def getting a lil tummy already- im 10wk, 2days...

gina-I think your exercise routine sounds just fine. I had to stop running to even get PG, so of course I am not doing that. And I am not lifting weights as much as I used to. I walk (on an incline), pilates, yoga, and some sculpting with light weights. I really have loved the yoga for the flexibility, muscle endurance and relaxation. I also was sooo hungry in the first trimester at times, but nothing sounded good. The second trimester was not so bad and more things sounded good, so I definitely started eating better. I think that I gained more weight right at first than I did later on. The third trimester has been great so far!!

kitty-I had an u/s at 6 wk, 10 wk, and then not another until 20 weeks. And I probably won't have another one. Once I got pregnant (injections), and transferred to my regular dr that will deliver the baby, they are treating it as a "normal" pregnancy.

cycle- I also have been dreaming about an old boyfriend from high school and alot of other friends from high school. Kind of weirded me out at first, but now I don't give much thought to it.

dana-I like the website you used to post your pictures too. I want to have a site where we can post pictures and family can print them off or order prints if they want from the website. I was thinking shutterfly, but does anyone else have any other ideas.

apples-I think it depends on the dr, as to how long past they will let you go. I think mine says 2 weeks, if there are no health concerns for mom or baby. But if someone would want induced in that time, I think he would do it. I think I would rather just go naturally, instead of being induced, but since I haven't been there, I can't say for sure. My mom was 3 weeks late with my two older sisters and 11 days late with me and my younger brother. I hope it is not genetic!!! Anyone know?

Apples- I have heard that they generally let you go for 2 weeks without any question, beyond that I am not sure. I bet it is so hard to just sit and wait. Are you exercising and as active as you have been the entire time, or have you slowed down? They say you should eat a hot spicy meal and have sex to induce labor, don't know how great sex sounds right now or a spicy meal, and also keep yourself really active. Of course those are all just ole wives tales.

Have you been measuring pretty much exactly as expected?
