    Hi all -

Thank you all for saying how great it is that sleep is going better - it KIND of is - we have another phone meeting with the sleep consultant today though. On Saturday night he was up from 12-3 and then Sunday night was better - just like 12-1 and the briefly at 2:30. But Monday night, right when I started to get a terrible sore throat, he was up several times throughout the night and I was just a mess. Plus, he has still been really fighting naps although he is EXHAUSTED. Yesterday he only napped an hour (after fighting it for an hour and a half) which is not only SO beyond rare for him but he woke up rubbing his eyes and so tired. Last night was A LOT better though - he was up at 11:45 (it did take 3 times of us going in b/c when he throws the contents of his crib out we put them on a chair and we have to wait another 20 minutes before giving them back and he screams the whole time so its really hard) and then briefly 3ish - but he kept everything except for his pacifiers in his crib! I just really want to talk to the consultant about naps b/c I need that time and so does he!! We are definitely no longer sleeping on the floor though which is nice!

Alp - I think it what Carol said makes a lot of sense. Also - I gained over 30 pounds and Ty was only 5 lbs 15 oz and he has just always been kind of a munchkin! From what I have heard Insanity is pretty...Insane! I have a friend who did it with her husband before their wedding and she said the carpet under where they were doing it was like permanently damp!

Jac - glad you all had fun in Naples! How did you choose Naples? Next time you will have to visit the east coast!

Carol - everything she told us makes sense - I just would never have thought to do it in my desperate sleep deprived state. I really think that her advice has helped a lot with my frustration as well. Instead of going in and being so frustrated that he constantly throws everything out of his crib and I am crawling around the floor in the middle of the night looking for pacifiers, I place them on the chair and tell him I am sorry but we told him not to throw everything out and everything will be waiting on the chair for him. I know he totally takes advantage of me and this really helps teach him who is in charge b/c I am really bad about that!

Spin - I used to do this treadmill workout at my gym in a small group that was basically like spinning on a treadmill - such a great workout! It involved walking at an incline till you got up to 15% then going back down and jogging, then sprinting and starting it over again. We also did lunges on the treadmill, side running and jump squats off the treadmill. Anyway - just a thought for shaking up the treadmill and trying some different things out on your hamstring! I am so happy for you that all of the opportunities for your future career are so great! That is awesome about your boot camp class!

Kat - I hope everything is okay with you - I am so disappointed we haven't heard from you in so long!

Bebe - I am VERY impressed! We still haven't driven to Disney yet although Ty is seriously obsessed with all things Mickey. I have a friend whose daughter is a week older than Ty and she has a year pass and goes like once or twice a month! We were going to go for his second birthday but I think we are going to wait a little bit longer! M & C will love it though!
That is SUCH wonderful news about Kelsmi - I am thrilled for her!

Whenever I am seriously sleep deprived I get sick but taking Zicam every 3 hours has seriously done wonders! The worst part for me is the sore throat which is usually the first day and thankfully that is totally gone. I cannot STAND having a sore throat!!

Tras- ugh!! I'm so sorry about the continuing issues! At least it's improved a little?? It's so weird because Ty was such a great sleeper before...such a 180?! I'm like u, if I dont get sleep, I get sick. I'm also so much more emotional about things. I hope the sleep consult helps! I'm really nervous about Disney, but am *hoping* all the extra hands help a lot!!

Alp - I'm excited to meet her too!! Do u have everything ready?

Tras - Ugh, sorry you still have sleep challenges, I really feel for you! I am a monster when I don't get enough sleep! That treadmill class sounds awsome! Funny too, because I've often thought of pitching that type of class format to one of the gyms I teach at. I am just not sure any of them would be willing to give over the treadmills for a group fitness class unless it was at a time of day that was very quiet. I used to do a lot of lateral training on the treadmill and I've been thinking of going back to it to see what happens. What is bothering my leg most right now actually, is sitting. So weird! Running doesn't bother it, neither does high impact plyometrics! I may be getting a kneeling chair for when I am at my desk, because sitting here is killing me!

spin - you look very fit and I'm sure you do kick ass when you teach! I should come to one of your classes after this baby. I tried not to get too back into working out after Lyla since I was trying to get pregnant on my own. I think we're likely done after this one though and I miss running and just feeling fit so much! I starting telling people yesterday after the ultrasound. My family already knew though.

tras - when do you think you'll move Ty to a "big boy" bed? Lyla will be 2 at the end of this month and we're starting to consider it. We can't use pack n' plays anymore for sleepovers at Grandma's because she learned to climb out! It's just a matter of time before she tackles the crib too! We went to Naples because we heard it was nice and we had friends staying in Fort Myers (30 minutes north of Naples) the same week.

alp - any more news? How are you feeling?

carol - what about you? Any more "o" signs?

bebe - how often do you have the nanny? That must be a huge help. As far as pumping goes, I found that it made me produce way too much milk and I was always in pain. Needless to say, I didn't pump much.

Jac - Aw thanks. Usually I'm proud of my muscles, but when I'm around the women in DH's family - who are all ridiculously skinny - sometimes I feel a bit self-conscious... That would be so much fun if you came to one of my classes!!

So your kids will be almost 2.5 years apart?

spin- I am curious how the haircut turned out???

jac- we just got Isaac a toddler bed and I plan on getting him into it pretty soon. He will be two next month. He hasn't tried to crawl out of his crib so I think we still have some time.

alp- I will be thinking about you on Monday!

tras- Uugh...sorry the sleep issues are not totally resolved. I'm glad you have an expert to help you out!

bebe- we will be going to disney the first week of May. I can't wait! This is our make a wish trip for Noah so we will get to do everything!

nico- how are you? How many days past 0?? Any symptoms??

    anyone heard from apples?

I am pretty much going crazy trying to figure out my body. I took an OPK on days 10-14. Day 14 it was the darkest but definitely not positive. I had no CM yet (which is always my biggest sign of O) so I skipped day 15 and took an OPK on day 16. That day there was almost no line. I feel like I haven't O'd because I have had very little EWCM and no sore boobs, but I can't figure out why I had darkening opk's and then nothing. Uugh...I hate this!!!

Writer - I am so sorry, I know how frustrating that is! Even when I was ovulating regularly I was NEVER able to detect it using those stupid things, it drove me nuts!! Would DH be okay with you having more cycle monitoring done, even if you aren't doing any treatments? Then at least you would know for sure.

To be honest, I can't decide about the haircut yet. The way the woman styled it is horrible - I look like a shorter haired version of Elaine Benis from Seinfeld in the first few seasons of the show - but once I wash it out and style it myself, it might be okay. She didn't take too much off so not much harm could have been done...at least I hope!

spin - Yes, the kids will be exactly 2.5 years apart! Figures I'd time it so I have to buy all new maternity clothes (since the seasons are entirely opposite this time)! I have felt very nauseous this time and can't stomach anything sweet. I'm starving otherwise though. Weird.

tras- I have a horrific sore throat right now too and seriously feel like i handle labor better! I ended up going to urgent care today and got a steroid shot. Neg for strep and neg for mono but man, it's my only symptom with a low grade fever and I can't hardly function. My mom had to come watch the kids today. Feeling much better though, wish I would have started Zicam yesterday! I'm glad sleep has improved for you and that you're no longer camping out in Ty's room. Mazey's nights are perfect, however, her naps remain a struggle. I usually get 30-45 minutes before she's screaming, then I go in, tell her it's still nap time and to lay back down and go to sleep. Sometimes she does, other times she doesn't. What did your sleep consultant say today? Mazey's molars are cutting so maybe that's why she regressed.

    alp- Excited for you!

spin- You're seriously my idol! You do it all- mom, school, fitness, cook, etc. I sure hope you find the answer to your hamstring issue.
