Orchiopexy surgery

My urolgist while doing a varicocele repair noticed my left teste was not fully decended. He did a procedure Orchiopexy. I was wondering if anyone out there went through this and what the outcome was. I am at the age of 30 what I read is its normally done at a much younger age.
