Our kickoff to the school year! (pics)

We are kicking off the school year with "field trip week" b/c schools around here started this week and I knew places wouldn't be busy with school field trips just yet. So, today dh and I took the kiddos to Science City (the science museum in Kansas City) and to play in the fountains at Crown Center. They had a ball and you could see their little minds just a thinkin' and a thinkin'.

Tomorrow we are going to go to a Diary Farm tour with my girlfriend and her 3 kiddos. Friday is Lydia's first day of preschool and our consultant for Jake's new therapy program will be here from Chicago. Then, we hit the books on Monday after our homeschool group's Back to School Bash on Sunday night--complete with swimming, games and snacks.

Love the pics! Looks fun!

I am thinking about taking the kids to the waterpark Monday since school will be in session and I won't have to deal with all those school kids. YAY!
