About LinkBacksI am 13 wks and had a cerclage yesterday. I am still in tons of pain. I had one with my last pregnancy and all went well so I did it again. This time Peri said that he was glad that we did it b/c my cervix was soft! What does that mean??? How can it be soft at this point?? He didn't say that when he did my last one with my last pregnancy. What do you think??

my cervix became soft after my first cerclage (14.5 weeks) and has been a pain in the butt since. make sure they check you more often. i am on weekly visits with 2 cerclages placed. oh and if they didn't put you on bedrest I'd at least do modified until you get the all clear...

Thanks Rachel! I am being careful. I so my Peri and had an u/s and all is fine for now. Cervix measured 4 cm. He got my stitches way up there and are 2 cm in. I think my cervix got to 2.7 cm last time at around 23 wks and then started to get longer.(which is normal)
