implantation near C Sect. scar

Has anyone been told the embryo has implanted close to their previous C Sect scar? I was just told that and I am wondering if this could mean a tough pregnancy. I am almost 6 wks preg. Thank you!
Cynthia

With my last pregnancy I started to bleed at around 10 weeks and thought it was a M/c but my dr. said that the embryo's placenta was trying to implant near the csect scar and was peeling off. She put me on a wk of bed rest and the embryo implanted w/o problems. The baby (my DD) carried to term but she does have Down's and Cystic Fibrosis which is totally unrelated to what happened at 10 weeks. My daughter had a rough start but she is doing great now and is the light of our lives.

Cynthia,
My last pg. also implanted near my c-section scar (I'd had 2 previous c-sections.) I did have a major bleeding episode at 13 weeks (thought for SURE I had m/c) but it was determined I had a placenta previa primarily due to where the placenta had attached.

I put myself on bedrest at that point. I didn't have anymore bleeding episodes, but did have an unrelated uterine infection which caused my delivery at 28 weeks. My DS will be 1 this Thursday and is doing awesome after his very early and small start!

I'm sure your OB will keep a close eye on things.
