pee amniotic fluid???

This is a crazy question but does anyone know if your amniotic fluid can come out through your urine? I'm 34 wks pregnant and pee ALL the time. I drink TONS of water though and the baby is low - pushing on my bladder. My urine is usually clear due to all the water....I just suddenly worried my amniotic fluid could be leaking out this way.....any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Amniotic fluid does not co-mingle with urine, if that's what you mean. You can, however release urine and amniotic fluid at the same time but I think what you are experiencing is a normal reaction to a growing baby! The baby's weight is pressing on your bladder and thus causing you to urinate more often. Your increased fluid intake is likely causing you to have watered down urine.

I would, however, recommend that you call your doctor just to be safe. They can give you a simple lither-strip test to determine if its urine or amniotic fluid.
