AFM - I'm on my second clomid IUI cycle. I was on 150mg of clomid CD 3-7. The past several months I've been ovulating day 15, 16, 18, etc. but I got a (+) OPK on CD 9 this time!?!?!? Seems really early. I went in for the IUI yesterday (CD10). My cycles are so strange lately. Not sure if it's because of the clomid, the DHEA which I started almost 2 months ago or if its accupuncture which I just started this cycle. If this doesn't work we'll probably move to IVF in June/July.

I'm glad you started a new thread, but unfortunately, I won’t be stimming this cycle. Wow, an IUI on Day 10 is early, but if you had one or more mature follicles, then I’d say go for it. It looks like not too many people are cycling on the High FSH board this month. I will definitely check in to see how you are doing. If you don’t see much traffic here and you want to chat, I sometimes chat on the IUI thread. A new two week thread for the “Buddies” and the “Sisters in Fertility” started Sunday. I follow the “Buddies” and man does that thread move fast, almost too fast. I didn’t log on for 3 days and when I came back I had missed 10 pages!!! I see you have been a member since July of 2010 and you just did your 2nd Clomid IUI cycle and I know I have seen you posting in the last couple of months, but please forgive me, I can’t really remember what your situations is. If you don’t mind, please get me up to speed. Good luck with the 2WW, I hope it flies by and ends with a BFP. Keep us updated.

AFM: Even before my baselines, my Dr suggested that I take a month or two off to let my ovaries rest. When I start back in June or July, I’ll do a Microdose Lupron Protocol. After doing baseline BW and US today, I guess he was right. I only had 2 follicles on my left ovary and 0 on my right. I don’t know what happened. Last month I had 11 total. However, the first time they checked, they didn’t see any. Then I had 1, then 2, then 10, then 11, now 2. And my freakin’ FSH went way back up…48.2 and my E2 was less than 10. Needless to say, I’m pretty bummed. I am going to take BCP for 21 days and see if that lowers my FSH. It worked before. I had to take it for 3M, but it got down to 12.2 and I produced 3 mature follicles and my E2 peaked around 600, but it was a BFN. Anyway, I guess if I had to take 1-2 months off, May and June are the months to do it. It is so nice outside right now. We opened our pool a few weeks ago and we have been swimming a lot. I just love it. I hope that will help the time fly by.

I had an FSH of 14 in March, and had embryo transfer (2 "grade 1" embryos) on day 3, May 3rd. (Waiting to hear if the 3rd embryo made it to blast for freezing).

Now I'm in the 2WW.

Jshoe: good luck! Hope your 2ww will past fast n u will have a bfp soon. I won't worry so much about ovulating early or late on clomid, bc it's normal that w stimulating your ovaries ovulation will varies. W clomid sometimes I ov early cd10 or 11 or 12 n 14. Still I liked it way more than letrozole that messed up my cycle n ovulation. I will keep checking this board to c how u r doing

KD: I am sorry that u won't b able to stim this cycle and about your high fsh. Hope taking break n bfp will decrease your number n u will b able to get your bfp. Meanwhile, enjoy your swimming pool

Hi all!

I'm still kinda' new but I just started my stimms last night so can I jump on board too?

I have low AMH (.51) I am doing 150 IU Gonal-F for 10 days then TI. The hubs is A-Okay so the RE wants us to try a couple rounds of stimms plus TI before using the big guns.

Thanks! I feel crampy like I have PMS, so I'm not terribly optimistic. Still, I'm happier that my eggs and embryos looked a whole lot better this cycle. I credit the DHEA for that. We'll have one more IVF try with insurance after this one... sigh.

My beta is on May 18, but I'll probably POAS next week before then.

Canady: cramping is not a bad sign! W my ivf I had so much cramping n back pain a week b4 my af n had bfp. Good luck!
