    Hello !

Although I am by now means new to TTC and the ups and downs its only till today that i have had to face my latest news on my fertility or rather lack there of.

I saw a FS on the 16th March and today its been confirmed that I have Premature Ovarian Ageing. I received the lowest result on my AMH that the FS said the machines would give.
I am 33 years, have one ovary, a 2 x 3 cm fibriod in my uterus and now i have POA. My DH has less than 500,000 swimmers (or rather the report said too few to give a reading).

My question is this....is anyone else in a similiar position and what are you doing. My heart is not ready to accept a donor egg and sperm as all I ever wanted was my own baby with my DH...selfish maybe. Adoption is just way too expensive plus I don't know if I am strong enough to do it. I have a friend that fostered 3 children and although she loves them dearly and won't change a thing I have seen the horrors she has had to go through and I am not strong enough for that either.

This is a new chapter of my life and right now I am not sure how to take a step forward.....

your numbers are similar to mine. i am doing my second IVF round now. i only produced 3-4 eggs each time, but the quality has been ok. my husband's #s weren't great either but with that few eggs they would do ICSI reagrdless so i don't think that's a huge thing to overcome. if you have insurance or $$, IVF could work for you.

    Here I am

My DH has no problems, but I had similar numbers (FSH swinging between 15 and 20 and AMH 0.15).
I had (and still having!) accupuncture twice a week since last August and took Inositol for 4 months. I really saw my FSH going lower and lower (8 , 9..) and my cycle getting back to what it was some years ago, before my 2 miscarriages (quantity and quality really improved!).
