Hi Katie
Sorry for worrying you. I've had a run of being ill :0( so this is week three now. I've gone from sore throat to flu to no voice to getting better and now got a stinking head cold so I'm starting to feel very sorry for myself
I don't think I ovulated this cycle so now waiting for AF. I'm not surprised but it would have been such a bonus!
Sorry to hear your levels were lower than hoped for but it's good news that they could instantly up your meds to help. Will be thinking of you over the next week! Stick little one stick!!
I've just finished my latest book and thinking of getting the glass castle which you said was good as have heard others say its good too.
Take care!

Karen,
I am sorry you haven't been feeling well. That is no fun. I am also sorry you don't think you ovulated. If so, then what happened to the one follicle that was 13mm? Sorry I am so naive.
The Glass Castle is very good, a little depressing at times, but very good. What book did you just finish?

Hi Katie
I've just finished the forgotten garden by Kate morton
I think the follicle would have just withered and disappeared :0(
I've booked an appointment with a clinic on 29th which will involve a detailed scan then consultation about whether or not natural or mild ivf will work for us
How you feeling today?

Hey Karen,
Thanks for asking...I don't really feel all that different. Ever since I increased the RX, I have been having pretty intense headaches. I'm not sure if it's related. My bbs are very sore (esp. when I wake up), but they have been for a couple of weeks. I don't know what I am supposed to be feeling, but I've read a lot of people have cramping. Mine has been very minimal. I'm not sure what that means. I guess I'll just keep waiting. I'll let you know what happens Monday. I'm really nervous, but hopefully I'll be sharing good news.
Good luck with your apt on the 29th. Please keep me updated.

Hey Karen,
Well, it's 12dptrigger and 11dpiui and I just couldn't take the suspense any longer. So, I did a HPT and it was a BFN
I'm hoping that I jumped the gun and it was just too soon, but I couldn't wait any longer. I'll probably try one more tomorrow and then go for my beta Monday. I read online that the absolute earliest you can tell is 8 days, but for most women it is 10-14 days after O. Since it has only been 11 (possibly 10, they may have done my iui too early) and everything tends to be slow for me, I'm not going to get too upset. I'll just keep praying for a miracle.

Oh Katie I'm sorry but it is early to test! I'd be the same, desperate to test but at day 10 or 11 few people get a bfp. AF hasn't come so that's a good sign. Try not to test tomorrow as its still early and you maybe needlessly upsetting yourself before Monday.
Thinking of you

You're right, I should just wait...I'll try, but no promises. I think we may go see a movie today, maybe then I can stop analyzing every detail in my head. I'll keep you updated.

Karen,
Thanks for thinking of me today, but unfortunately, it was a BFN.
I'm pretty sad. I knew the odds were stacked against me, but I just felt so positive about this cycle. Well, at least up until about a week ago. Anyway, I guess we will try again. When the nurse called to give me the bad news, she asked if I wanted to try again with the same meds. I said, I don't know, what does the Dr. think? And she said, oh he is out of town for Spring Break and won't be back until next Monday. She said if I wanted to talk to him first, I could keep taking the progesterone suppositories until Friday to keep AF away and come in or do a video conference Monday or Tuesday and CD3 baselines. It seems odd to me to try to keep AF away, but what do I know.
Keep me updated, I hope it goes well when you have your appointment next week.

Hey Katie
No wonder you are feeling sad
make sure you give yourself time and space to feel everything you need to go through. It's too easy to deny ourselves our emotions.
It's good tho that they are already taking to you about what they can do with you next. I guess they want you to keep AF away so they can the see you on the right CD but that's just a guess.
Afm I had an acupuncture session today so feel much better. I'm also trying melatonin for the first time tonight as I'm not a good sleeper so hopefully by tomorrow I'll feel amazing!
Keep in touch even if you just feel the need to rant!
Karen
