AMH of less than 0.1 and had successful pregnancy

Hey Ladies, My most recent AMH draw came back <0.1 (I know really bad). I am wondering if anyone has had a successful pregnancy with an AMH that low? My FSH was 4.4, my estradiol was 119. Thanks in advance for feedback

Yes! When I conceived my DD in 2009, my AMH was 0.06 and my FSH was a little higher than yours. I was also 34. She was conceived without treatment, although I had many failed treatments before that. From what I understand, AMH is a better indicator of quantity not quality. So with meds you might be a poor responder, but your eggs could still be good quality. And age is on your side!

If you haven't already, you might want to talk to your RE about taking DHEA. In studies it has been shown to increase egg quantity and quality too I think in IVF patients. Although it can be bought over the counter, I wouldn't take it without talking to a Dr as it can have side effects.
    Good luck!

I am taking DHEA, but I haven't been taking it for very long. I actually take "the latest concoction of meds” posted here. Thank you for responding today has not been a very good day for me, and it is good to hear success stories

I know how you're feeling and I'm sorry you're going through this. But try to stay positive even though it's hard You'll have the family you want, it just might take a little extra work to get it.

I haven't been on this site for a while but saw your post and wanted to chime in. My AMH was low around .1 something and later went up to .6 so I'm not sure what how much value you should give those labs results - docs say they don't flucutate but mine did. I was a very poor responder with IVF but still had regular periods. We got lucky without any treatment 2 months after our last IVF failed - I'm due in February. The only thing I had done different was my husband and I started joined a gym after that last IVF failed trying to focus on our health because the infertility stress was really hurting us. We started excercising regularly and I started fertility yoga 4/5 times a week (we had already been taking vitamins and supplements for over a year). I don't know if that was the trick but it also helped us feel a lot better mentally/physically. Don't give up hope - from my experience statistics and doctors are lame.

and if your periods aren't regular I suggest the book "Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrition" by M. Shannon - she suggests diet and vitamins that helped get my cycles very regular. docs won't back that stuff up.

    me too

Yes, I also fell into this camp. My situation is very unique, so I am neither in the camp of the IF or the naturally blessed. I had one successful PG (on the first try) in late '08 but unfortunately we terminated for a genetic condition that had been passed along. We then sought IVF/PGD and in doing so my AMH was virtually undetectable, (I guess below .1) (all other tests were normal). My RE was very clear that the odds of IVF were low but she did say we would likely conceive easily naturally (a dilemma due to the issue with first PG). To fast forward, my cycle Oct '09 was canceled due to poor response, but within that time did conceive naturally and had a basically uneventful pregnancy. Our wonderful daughter is now 5 months old. Don't give up hope, the numbers do not necessarily tell the whole story...

    Confused
I can't really help to much on the pregnancy aspect but what I can say is my AMH is the same!, but my FSH is 78 and my estrogn alot lower at >20.( I have POF) I was put on estrogen and Im pretty sure I ovulated while on estrogen. Took OPK;s For the week I was suppost to First 3 days Negative 4th day Bright Positive ( I took 3 thinking it was faulty), Next 3 days negative. I was told I would Need D/E So anything is possible!
