High Fsh- 27.8 and 10 antral follicles
Does this make sense to anyone- I thought my fsh would be lower with that many follicles- do you think it makes a difference that it was on day 1 (got my period later that day bw in the am) and not day 3?

My RE puts way more stock in AFC than FSH levels. I wouldn't worry so much about your high FSH because your AFC sounds great!!!

Just another thought. My RE doesn't didn't even test my FSH before last cycle. We know its bad. Why rub salt in the wound.

ACW - I just remembered that you go to SG. SG never tested my FSH after the initial round of testing and then for the CCCT. My RE placed more emphasis in the AFC. If everything looked clear on baseline and if b/w levels were where they were supposed to be, I got the green light. Seriously, I would so want to go ahead and start stims to see what happens w/ that many antral follies! Oh, and if anything, I would think your FSH would be lower on CD1 than CD3.

You know what's funny - CRMI doesn't really do AFC as far as I can tell. They do a baseline u/s and on my last attempt he said there were "a bunch" of follicles. And for the notation it was just <10+ for both sides. I wonder if for the super-fertile crew they actually count or if they get the same notation?

Fire - That sounds like they do an AFC. I don't think AFs can be measured, so they will just put the number of follies they see.
