for a few weeks now, there have been flyers in the mail advertising a new weight loss clinic opening up in our town, call U Weight Loss. They are similar to Herbal Magic or Herbal One in method, so I thought I would stop in to their open house and see what they are about.
So, after an hour and a half of talking, fiddling with the cost because, honestly, I think they go a bit overboard in that area, I signed up. I was weighed, and told them what I wanted to weigh.
Beginning weight, 201 lbs, ending weight, 140lbs (I hope)
It uses a meal plan with food you buy in the grocery store, and uses vitamin supplements, coaching and journalling. The first week is a cleansing and detox, which they tell me the average person loses about 10 lbs, and they guarantee a 2lb per week weight loss.
So, since I'm VERY unhappy with my weight, I'm anxious to get started. I may be crazy, but I need something to get me going, and I want this to work. Hubby was not thrilled with the cost, but since I got them down to about 1/2 what it was, I think we can swing it. He's not said much, which I hope means he will be supportive of me.
I'm not planning to tell everyone (family and friends) about this because I will get the usual "it won't work, you'll gain all the weight back when you stop" and I'm just up to the discouraging, but I needed to tell someone so you folks are it! Think they will notice 60lbs of weight loss??????
