May I join? My Intro...

Hi ladies, I would like to officially join you. I've been lurking for a few weeks now trying to get my mindset in the right place.

Here's a quick little history...

As a preteen I was overweight, then I added thick glasses to my already unappealing image, was not having AF like the other girls and was very flat chested. Needles to say I got picked on ALOT in school by girls and boys. The summer before 7th grade, I said NO MORE and meant it. I just quit eating and starved myself. Looking in the mirror everyday was enough to keep me from putting food in my mouth. Being so young, I had no idea what I was actually doing to myself. I then found myself in the hospital fighting anorexia at just 83 lbs. With the help of dr's and my dad (my hero), I was able to over come it and maintained a weight of 95 lbs throughout highschool. My dad even got me contacts (and had "padding" put in my prom dress that his sister was making me )

Fast forward.....When we started IF treatment I began to put on some weight, scared me at first but was actually needed. Then pg finally came my way and lots more pounds added, then more IF treatment, pg and again more weight. I was holding at 165 lbs but to scared to try and loose the weight for fear of my hospital days.

Then a year and a half ago, I joined LA weight loss and with their help SLOWLY lost 50 lbs. I was filling GREAT!!!! 2 months later I found myself with a natural miracle pg (still never had AF by the way and I guess I never will). Now he is 6 months old and I'm gaining instead of losing. I am going this alone this time, just can't afford LA or WW right now. I'm having a very hard time staying with the LA diet this time around, so I think I'm just gonna try eating healthy and see if that will get me anywhere.

It's nice to join you ladies!!!! PLEASE KEEP ME ON TARGET!!!! I need someone pushing me to eat right.

Hi Tracey - Glad to see you here. I am doing LA Weight Loss currently I did this program before I got pg with Luke and had to stop because of my pg. I tried to go back on the program with what materials I had, so I went back and joined back up. So far so good. Good luck.

Perhaps we need to go back and walk Six Flags to get in some exercise.

Tracey - glad to see you here! You have been through a lot of stuff. This is a great group of ladies and as someone said, we ALL need help. I think it helps me to see both the wins and the struggles and know I'm not alone in either case on any day! Take care!
