SPOILER DO NOT READ if you have not finished the book.
Here is an interesting post I found on the Leaky Cauldron. I think this theory is lausible and actually makes sense when you think about it. Just one more theory to think about! LOL!
Only read this if you have finished the book it gives away major plots in HBP: http://www.leakylounge.com/cgi-bin/i...ST;f=16;t=8025

That's VERY interesting.
We also never actually see Dumbledore's body immediately before the funeral, other than Hagrid carrying a body-shaped object wrapped in a cloak/covering, right? So how do we know that it was actually Dumbledore's body in the cloak? Maybe he just appeared dead right after Snape cursed him (because he took the Draught of the Living Dead), but he was later taken away somewhere and revived, then went into hiding. If that's the case, though, then I'm wondering why the other Order of the Phoenix members (like McGonagall, Lupin, etc.) were kept in the dark and don't know what's going on. If they aren't helping him, then where is he hiding? And who revived him? Hagrid? Interesting. |

That is very interesting. I could see the Living Dead potion being possible if D hadn't just drank all that liquid in the cave. He said himself is was lethal, but not immediately. I think he was suffering it's effects when he was talking to Draco. And when he was saying 'Severus, please' to Snape, I didn't think he was begging for his life. I thought he was asking Snape to help him because he had drank that stuff. Also, I thought the portraits in headmaster's office are of dead headmaster's. If it were just previous hm, Dolores Umbridge would have a portait there.
But other than those two points, I think the theory has real merit. Thanks for the link.
