My ds and I have debated this one back and forth. Malfoy can't be it he is a pure blood.

Unless it is a new character we are betting on Seamus Finnigan. Although that seems unlikely too. We can't wait to find out!

Well, since you proved me wrong on Malfoy the other day, I'll have to say a new character. Unless it could be Draco's father...Lucius Malfoy? That would be an interesting turn of events!

Connor has been asking me every day what hour exactly the next Harry Potter is coming out. He's reread every single one about 20 times. I have no idea how he's going to handle it when he realizes that I get first dibs on reading it.

I am guessing Malfoy also only because they always comment on how they are pure blood. I think there will be a twist and somehow they find out they are not as pure as they thought.

I love the thought that it is Neville. I love him and feel like he is coming into his own, espcially since the last book. I can't wait!!!! Did I say that yet? I'm such a geek!

Neville is a pure-blood wizard (book 5, Dumbledore spends several pages on this subject), so I left him off the list. I hesitated adding Draco since he IS a pure-blood too (as pure-bloods go!), but I threw it in there anyway.

I can't imagine Sirius' mom wasn't from a pure-blood family herself, so that rules him out in my book. Can't be any of the Weasley's cuz it is mentioned in Book 1 that they are pure-blood.

For me, it is a tossup between Godrick Gryffindor (cuz he's brought up a lot on book 2 and that's the book Rowling says sets up the intro of the HBP) and a new character. But I can't find my second book!! WAH!!!
