Hi guys, thanks for suggestions. Yes, the problem is a conventional ivf is too expensive for me, so the only choices are mini or IUI. Quite a dilema. Release control, release control, release control....BUT ITS SOOOO dificult to trust drs in this area in particular.
Ok, Im truly happy for those of you who are pregnants. I have a daugther and its the best thing that could had happened to me by far. She is beautiful inside out and she brought the best in me, u ll see.
I will keep you updated, so far I will start treatment in September, around the 10th.

Thank you I cheated two days ago and POAS...ofcourse it was negative....My temps are still high and I have no sign of AF....Yet. Means alot that you remembered me!

I got the dates wrong on the beta. Called and cancelled it because AF showed up... Maybe next month. How is everyone doing??

Hey ladies. Well, I went in today for my CD3 u/s today, and they found a cyst. They put me on some meds to hopefully shrink the cyst. So, now this two week wait isn't going to be fun at all. lol Keep your fingers crossed for me. How are you ladies doing? How are we feeling?

I've never posted to any threads before, but have been following this one for a couple weeks. Just wanted to give a quick congratulations to Twomoms521!
A brief introduction for everyone: We've been ttc since Dec 2010. After 2 at-home attempts with a known donor, a brief pregnancy, then 5 months of iui with no success, we can't decide what direction to go in next. Considering asking our known donor again or doing at home insems with frozen.
Anyhow, looking forward to seeing a bunch of BFPs from you all.

Hool--Welcome to this thread!! It is always hard to decide which step to take next. Has your fresh sperm donor been tested for motility, morphology and count? Have you and/or your partner had blood work to test FSH, progesterone, etc.? Has your partner been tested for blocked tubes, endometriosis, or fibroids? Have you thought about medicated cycles of IUI? The chances with IUI are very low (5-20%), but a medicated cycle could bump up your chances a little bit since hopefully more eggs would be produced (closer to 20%). Have you considered IVF? I know it is expensive, but will probably get you a BFP faster than IUI, considering all other things are normal. If you want to continue with the at home inseminations, I would have your partner and your fresh donor tested, just to make sure everyone parts are working : ) I read that the fresh versus frozen sperm has the same outcome in pregnancy rates. I would think that your fresh sperm is much cheaper ; ) I certainly haven't answered your question for you, but wanted to give you something to think about. It is not uncommon to have to do multiple attempts at any type of IF treatment. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

Hey hool! Welcome to the board!!! I'm sorry you've been through alot trying to conceive. And I know that not knowing what the next step should be is scarey, but we will help you as much as we can! If I were you, I would definitely get some tests done like Twomommies said. And then if everything is kosher in that department, I would want to try to get on a medicated cycle with an IUI. I don't know how much you know about the medication they would put your partner on, but if you have any questions or want any information, just ask! I just came off of my first cycle of clomid, trigger shot, progesterone, and IUI #1. Whatever you decide to do, We're here for you both!!! Glad to see a new face!!
